Leveraging a state-of-the-art process, easy.forward™, digitized over 30,000 HR and payroll files totaling over 12 million pages of documents for the state of Connecticut within 12 months. The highest degree of quality and security was achieved for each task utilizing optical and intelligent character recognition along with artificial intelligence (AI) and human intervention.

To develop an effective end-to-end solution, we accounted for the packing and retrieval of all paper files and developed a priority schedule for digitization. Human and artificial intelligence worked in tandem to determine optimal organization of the given data. The data is now prepared to be absorbed into the State’s single content management portal, SolutionCT. No agency downtime or any notable impact to their operations involved in the process.

Throughout the process, steps were taken to verify that all documents were properly digitized, indexed, classified, and integrated seamlessly into the HR department’s single content management platform. Accurate and structured data was stored in a highly convenient manner. This helped to ensure that the data could be accessed at any time and from any place. As a result, information retrieval time was reduced by almost 50%, enabling State workers to become more efficient and productive.
